국제학술활동
Regional Science Association International (RSAI)
한국지역학회는 RSAI (Regional Science Association International) Korea Section으로 회원들이 매년 다양한 학술대회에 참가하고 있다. RSAI Korea Section Representative는 현 학회장이 역임하고 있으며, PRSCO 대표단에는 서울대 김홍석 교수가 역임하여 RSAI committee members meeting에서 RSAI 관련 의결권을 행사하고 있다. 한국지역학회가 RSAI Korea Section으로 참가하고 있는 국제학술 교류활동은 다음과 같다.

1. 58th Western Regional Science Association (WRSA) annual meeting
- 일시: 2018년 2월 11일 ~ 14일
- 장소: Hilton Pasadena, Pasadena, California (미국)
- 총 참가인원 수 : 300명 정도
- 한국인 참가인원 수: 30명~40명
- 참가국가: 미국, 한국, 네덜란드, 스웨덴, 중국, 일본, 독일, 브라질, 캐나다, 이탈리아, 영국, 프랑스 등
2. 12th World Congress of RSAI (Regional Science Association International)
- 일시: 2018년 5월 29일 ~ 6월 1일
- 장소: Goa, India
- 총 참가인원 수 : 500명 정도
- 한국인 참가인원 수: ~10명
* RSAI meeting에서 발표 및 제안하여 2023년 PRSCO (Pacific Regional Science Conference Organization) Conference를
대구로 유치하였음.
3. 58th European Regional Science Association (ERSA) conference
- 일시: 2018년 8월 28일 ~ 31일
- 장소: Cork, Ireland
- 총 참가인원 수 : 1000명 정도
- 한국인 참가인원 수: 15명~20명
- 참가국가: 미국, 유럽, 남미, 아시아의 다수의 나라들
4. 8th Asian Seminar in Regional Science (한국지역학회 주최)
- 일시: 2018년 9월 7일 ~ 9일
- 장소: 제주도, 한국
- 총 참가인원 수 : 150명 정도
- 참가국가: 한국, 일본, 중국, 대만, 호주
5. 65th Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science International (NARSC)
- 일시: 2018년 11월 7일 ~ 10일
- 장소: San Antonio, Texas (미국)
- 총 참가인원 수 : 1000명 정도
